HelioAIntel Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 31, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how HelioAIntel LLC, a Delaware limited liability company, also doing business as “Helio Intel” (“HelioAIntel,” “we,” “us”), collects, uses, shares and protects personal information when you visit helioaintel.ai, use our mobile or desktop apps, subscribe to our briefs and alerts, or otherwise interact with us (together, the “Service”). It should be read together with our Terms of Use.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Account information: your name, email address, password (stored in hashed form) and, for Premium, your organization name and the users you add.
- Subscription and consent records: your plan, billing status, billing history, and the date, time and wording of the automatic-renewal terms you agreed to at checkout.
- Content you submit: comments, questions, correction requests and messages to support.
- Communications: emails you send us, including legal notices and opt-out requests.
Information collected automatically
- Device and usage data: IP address, browser and device type, operating system, pages and briefs viewed, alert interactions, and dates and times of access.
- App data: push-notification tokens and basic app diagnostics, so we can deliver alerts and fix problems.
- Cookies and similar technologies: described in Section 4.
Payment information
Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. Stripe collects your card details directly; we do not receive or store your full card number. We receive limited billing information from Stripe, such as the last four digits of your card, its expiration date, your billing ZIP code and payment status. Purchases made through the Apple App Store or Google Play are processed by those stores under their own privacy policies.
Information from other sources
We obtain business contact information (such as name, job title, company, business email and business phone) from commercial data providers, including Apollo.io, and from public sources such as company websites and professional directories. We use it to contact businesses that may be interested in the Service.
2. How we use information
We use personal information to:
- Provide the Service, including the Daily Brief, the Executive Brief, alerts and your account.
- Process subscriptions and payments, send receipts, renewal reminders and price-change notices, and keep the consent records required by law.
- Respond to support requests, correction requests and legal notices.
- Send service messages, and, where permitted, marketing emails about the Service. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link in each email.
- Understand which companies visit our website and how the Service is used, so we can improve it and reach interested businesses.
- Secure the Service, prevent fraud and abuse, and enforce our Terms of Use.
- Comply with legal, tax and accounting obligations.
We do not use your personal information or the content you submit to train artificial-intelligence models.
We do not collect sensitive personal information such as Social Security numbers, financial account numbers (other than through Stripe as described above), precise geolocation or biometric data. We do not use personal information to make automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.
3. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
We share personal information only with:
- Service providers that process it on our behalf and under contract, including payment processing (Stripe), website hosting, email delivery, customer-relationship and sales tools (Apollo.io), workflow automation, and analytics. They may use it only to provide services to us.
- App stores (Apple and Google), if you download or subscribe through them.
- Your organization, if you use a Premium account it administers: the account owner can see which users are on the account.
- Legal and safety recipients, when required by law, subpoena or court order, or when needed to protect the rights, property or safety of HelioAIntel, our users or others.
- A successor business, as part of a merger, acquisition, financing or sale of assets, subject to this policy.
- Anyone else, with your consent.
4. Cookies, tracking and Do Not Track
We use:
- Essential cookies: a secure, HttpOnly authentication cookie that keeps you signed in. The Service will not work without it.
- Analytics and visitor-identification tools: our website uses Apollo.io’s website tracker, which uses cookies and your IP address to identify the company or organization associated with a visit, and the pages viewed. This helps us understand which businesses are interested in the Service. These third parties may collect information about your online activities over time and across different websites.
- Email tracking: our emails, including briefs and outreach, may contain small images or tracked links that tell us whether an email was opened or a link was clicked. You can limit this by turning off automatic image loading in your email app.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies will prevent you from signing in.
Do Not Track: browsers offer a “Do Not Track” setting. There is no common industry standard for responding to it, and our website does not currently respond to Do Not Track signals.
Global Privacy Control: we do not sell or share personal information for advertising, but if your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of any such sale or sharing.
5. Data retention
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above:
| Information | How long we keep it |
|---|---|
| Account information and content you submit | While your account is active, then deleted within 30 days of an account deletion request, except as below |
| Billing and transaction records | 7 years, for tax and accounting purposes |
| Automatic-renewal consent records | At least 3 years, or 1 year after your subscription ends if later, as California law requires |
| Legal notices, opt-outs and correction requests | As long as needed to honor them and resolve any dispute |
| Server logs and backups | Up to 90 days |
| Business contact information from data providers | Until you ask us to stop contacting you, or it is no longer useful |
When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.

We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under your state’s privacy law, and we will honor them as that law requires. If we deny your request, you may appeal by replying to our decision with the subject “Privacy Appeal.”
7. Health information

8. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information, including encryption in transit, hashed passwords, access controls and secure authentication cookies. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we learn of a security breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you as required by law.
9. Children
The Service is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
